On 14 June, Raising Films Ireland partnered with the National Talent Academies and ReelTime Media to host a one-day Dublin workshop dedicated to helping screen-industry professionals find and work effectively with job-share partners.
The training gave crew from across the Irish screen industry a practical space to explore job-sharing: from reflecting on personal working styles; to meeting and pitching to prospective job-share partners; to planning how shared roles could work in reality.
Attendees learned concrete strategies for effective handovers, using technology to manage shared responsibilities, and presenting a job-share proposal to employers. This workshop supports our ongoing 2025 initiative to embed flexible and inclusive working practices in the screen industry to help retain experienced crew and open up career opportunities for people balancing work and caring responsibilities.
